Espi is a singer/performer better known as one half of glitch electronica duo lil replica, whose debut album Redux & Respair was released last year. Here, in her debut solo performance, she sings an improvised vocal line, at turns haunting, desperate, aggressive, and wistful, over a shifting sonic landscape.
Devon Michigan is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist & naturalist. She’s best known for the live sound art project ghost taco. They were a founding member of Vancouver underground music venues the ALF Haus (2002- ), the Secret Location (2005-2020), & the short-lived Death Church (2009-2014) in Montréal. Michigan works for hyper-local arts groups with queer, anti-racist, anarchist values. She’s also a prep and line cook, specializing in vegan & “whole” food.
